Thursday Happiness at Ship Ahoy

Ship Ahoy tourney on Thursday the 29th. $5 entry fee starting at 8 o’clock. Depending on the turnout the format may be changed. As of right now it will be a head to head matchup with a twist. Your opponent gets to play any/all of the extra balls you have collected, you can either let them drain or get and waste their multiball do whatever you want with them. If more than 16 show it will become a team effort, with randomly assigned teamates. In this format the head to head will be a 4 player game AVERAGING the two scores to determine the winner. If you don’t like this set-up tough shit and deal with it. Either way it will be double elimination winner/winners take home the bacon.

It came to my attention that averaging the scores will still have the same outcome of just adding them together and leaving it at that.

Hey are all of the tournaments going to start at 8 from now on? Since I am a working class corporate shill it makes it much harder to go to these because I have to work early in the AM. Also we know they always tend to start a little late. Anyway just wondering about that…I am not sure how other people need to be accommodated. Regardless, you will still see my smiling face as I choke under pressure and drain.

I agree, I work early as well. It used to be 7 and people were showing up late, so I made it 8. And people still show up late. I will get a census at the next event to see if we can more it back to 7. I wold love to see it happen at 6 but I don’t think that will fly.
