Yeah, Aaron nearly rolled it twice in the same game in round 1 of the finals. Final score was something like 17.5 million.

Great playing and an awesome tournament! I too really liked this format.

I don't mind most Stern machines but some take away my freedom of enjoyment and youth.

Funny how this event has seemed to have gotten a lot more praise than the basically exact same tournament we threw last year.

Maybe it's because we introduced the phrase "casual flow" into the mix. I wouldn't overlook that.

It actually is set up pretty tough, but there's a scoring exploit that vastly outweighs everything else in the game. The powerflex shot under the ramp is easy to hit, and trap/repeat. With 2x scoring you're at 800k per shot in no time. A quick 12 shots and you've rolled it. It's kinda like the million center ramp shot on police force - everything else is pointless.

Maybe you could disable the powerflex switch under the ramps, so that loop wouldn't be worth anything. Then you'd actually have to go for the various stand up and drop banks, build bonus etc.

I hate fucking acronyms. Stupidest shit ever. I heard an older (50's) couple at the bar the other night having a conversation in acronyms, I have no idea what the fuck they said but it was dumb. Just like acronyms.

Those are all regular old abbreviations not acronyms. An acronym is a word made by an abbreviation, like COW or NATO.
