12th and Se Division (i'll add it to the map today)

Y'all gots to check this joint out. It has four machines, all cashbox, LOTR, Simpsons, TOM, IJ4. All of the machines are off to the side in their own room complete with cool hand crafted flipper end tables for your brews. What sets this place apart and makes it most radical is that they have mirrors above the machines reflecting the playfield for all to watch. I'm at a loss why all locations don't have this amenity. Check it out, they have huge garage bay doors that open, tons of outdoor seating, and a HUGE selection of beers on draft.

The owner of this bar plays at C-bar alot.
He was asking for suggestions on who to get machines from. I guess he didn't like my suggestion...... Unhappy emote...

Sauce and I stopped in. Nice little zone for playing ball. And they have a quarter machine. Huge outdoor area. Machines seemed nice. No ball save on Simpsons. I got the GC on theatre up to 2.1bil.

Sounds awesome, but what a bummer of a lineup!

Yeah, it would make a decent spot for tournaments (cash only, btw). But the tourneys would probably take forever, and wouldn't be terribly exciting to play. Still!

The owner of Apex is very hands-on about making sure the pins there are maintained. Me and Steph play there a couple nights a week and he is almost always there asking how the machines are playing and making calls to Cashbox if necessary.

This is a great place that deserves to be supported. Please definitely ignore anything I may have said to the contrary.

I don't think it's that bad. Could be worse! And, more than some other games, LOTR and IJ4 are good games for getting drunk with friends and playing pinball. if that's your thing.

I think the general setting and feel of Apex makes up for somewhat lacking lineup. Last time we went there I didn't even play pinball. Just got accidentally hammered by drinking 10.5% Maharaja Imperial IPA's.

Don't be fooled by that small glass they serve it in. . . it'll sneak up on ya.

A Dracula was swapped for LOTR and plays pretty nice, but is floaty as fuck. The Theatre here is in great shape with a tight tilt. Indy was turned off on Wednesday.

Dropshot, is a tourney here still in the mix?

Replacing LOTR with Dracula. BALLSY move! I figured LOTR would be super popular. I've had a good number of friends tell me, "Dude! I love the LOTR at Apex. I got eleventy million on it. My best yet!"

IJ is out and Iron Man is in, 50cent play too.

Line up is now Theatre of Magic, Dracula, Iron Man, and Ripleys Believe it or Not. Much better tourney line up.

Played there earlier tonight. Was having a decent game on TOM, then the left flipper button (amazing! mystifying!) popped out of the machine. Gave it to the bartender for safe keeping.

Current line uo is TOM, Batman Dark Knight, Monster Bash, and Tron.

Monster bash just went in this past week, and is playing very nice except for the phantom flip being a bit wacky.
