Locations to play. Make notes on the current status and quality of machines throughout town.

The Observatory - 81st and Stark

This is gonna be a good pinball spot. Tons of space in the pinball/bar area. Rhodes has put his WCS '94, Family Guy, T3 and I think his Funhouse. Those games have all been recently shopped out and are playing good. He's also sticking the nicest Getaway in town there ;)

No pinball there until Feb 1st - the bar area is still being finished.

Based on the website the place seems to cater more towards the restaurant end of things rather than the bar end. However, I did just call them. They do have the machines in but are about a week or two away from getting their final inspection. The menu seems fairly reasonably priced with a good selection though.

They do close at midnight, but do have happy hour from 3-6 then again from 10-close(12) which includes $1 beers. Could be good for the final tourney spot?

Wait. Is this place called "The Observatory" or "Over and Out"?

someone just sent me a message via the map calling it Over and Out.

No, I think it is called the observatory. Kevin and I went up there last Saturday. There were no pins. Just the promise of pins. But no actual pinball machines. We were like, "Where are the pinball machines?" Then they were like, "We don't have them yet, but they are coming soon." Then we left. Nice spot though.

Did you go into the back room? I helped Rhodes with a Getaway issue and he had 5 machines back there. It was still under construction, but that was a month ago.

Yeah, I called them 3 weeks ago and they said the machines were there but they were still remodeling for another week or so. The machines should be there.

The pins are available to play as of yesterday, according to Rhodes.

Well, now I gotta go up there again! We just went to Roscoe's instead. That's a pretty good block with those two spots.

The upper flipper on Family Guy is totally broken. It doesn't work.
